Meet Our President

Phil Cohen has been an authority in the factoring industry for over 20 years. In 1999, he founded PRN Funding, a leader in the healthcare services factoring field.  When faced with an influx of incoming leads that didn’t fit PRN’s niche market, Phil recognized and opportunity and created Factor Finders. Factor Finders serves as a factoring matchmaker, connecting small businesses with a factoring partner that best fits their unique needs.

In addition to serving as president of both companies, Phil has also been a key player in the factoring industry at large.  He has been a member of the International Factoring Association since 2004, serving on their advisory board from 2009-2011. Cohen is also a member of the Commercial Finance Association, serving on their board of directors and is a board member of the American Factoring Association.

Prior to founding PRN funding, Phil spent a decade holding VP-level positions in the medical transcription field, initiating corporate joint ventures, strategic alliances and growth initiatives in the industry. It was this experience that led his realization that many solid companies in the healthcare services industry were held back by a lack of funding options. Phil earned his MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
